This classic and beautiful, hand crafted rattan lounger has a bamboo wooden frame and is handwoven in rattan by artisans in Malawi supporting their communities fairly through their trade.

The colonial design is timeless, stylish and comfortable and looks stunning in a sun room, on a patio, deck, verandah or poolside. This furniture can be used indoors and outdoors and is treated with a rich, matte varnish to prolong its life.

Customize to your decor style by adding your own cushions. Or make life simple when you order the lounger with a cushion pad custom made for the lounger. The cushion sizing beautifully exposes the intricate details of the chair edging.

Each piece is skillfully weaved by using centuries old traditional weaving methods and takes up to 10 days to complete. It is truly a work of art.

Made in Malawi with love by skilled artisans from natural materials in remote villages. No two pieces are identical. Handmade processes are used and frays or “ends” of the cane fibers may appear through the weave. Irregularities in shapes, colours, surfaces and finishes may be present. We celebrate any 'imperfections' as part of the unique and authentic nature of the products. Splitting, chips, cracking, natural defects and leeching of natural oils are present in natural timbers and are not considered faults.
